30 March 2019 - Cities around the world marked Earth Hour on Saturday, 30 March by turning off lights at 8:30 p.m to 9.30 p.m local time in a call for global action on climate change. Earth Hour, spearheaded by the World Wildlife Fund, calls for greater awareness and more sparing use of resources, especially fossil fuels that produce carbon gases and lead to global warming.
In support of the event, we have switched off the lights in several places at our hotel premise. The staff and public has support to lights up the candle to show their gratitude and respect of the nature. Together with, some donation was collected for MERCY Malaysia during the night.
